About The Position

Pineapple House of Sapphire Lakes, located in Naples, Florida, is seeking a compassionate and energetic Part-Time Activities Assistant to support the Life Enrichment Coordinator. This role involves promoting active and fulfilling lifestyles for senior residents through daily activities and recreational therapy, making a positive impact in a warm community.

Requirements

• Ability to be flexible with scheduling, including days, evenings, and weekends
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
• Basic organizational skills and attention to detail
• Positive attitude and genuine interest in enhancing residents’ quality of life
• Requires a background screening as mandated by Florida law.

• Previous experience working with seniors or in recreational therapy preferred
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Responsibilities

• Assist the Life Enrichment Coordinator in planning, organizing, and facilitating daily activities and recreational programs for residents
• Engage residents in social, recreational, and therapeutic activities to promote physical, mental, and emotional well-being
• Support residents in participating in activities, ensuring inclusivity and encouragement
• Help set up and clean up activity spaces and materials
• Monitor and document residents’ participation and responses to activities
• Foster a friendly, respectful, and positive environment for residents and staff
