About The Position

Lutheran Life Villages is seeking a Life Enrichment Assistant to join their Memory Care Assisted Living community at the Village at Inverness. This role focuses on bringing engaging experiences, meaningful connections, and joyful moments to residents. The assistant will partner with the Life Enrichment team to create activities that support residents' social, emotional, intellectual, spiritual, and physical well-being, utilizing principles of person-centered memory care.

Experience in memory care, life enrichment, or senior living is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

Plan and lead meaningful recreational and life enrichment activities
Build genuine relationships with residents and encourage participation
Support person-centered memory care using Positive Approach to Care (PAC), Teepa Snow, and Eden Alternative principles
Assist with group outings, celebrations, seasonal events, and intergenerational programs
Help assess residents' interests and individualize activities to meet their needs
Collaborate with families and interdisciplinary team members to enhance quality of life
Maintain activity documentation and attendance records
Transport residents to activities and outings as needed
Help create an engaging, welcoming, and vibrant community atmosphere
