About The Position

Join our team at Lutheran Village at Miller's Grant! We are seeking compassionate and energetic Life Enrichment Assistant's to help create meaningful and engaging experiences for our residents. In this role, you will assist with activity programs, special events, outings, and resident engagement while promoting a positive and enriching environment. These positions will get to support our residents in the Memory Care neighborhood!

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Eligible to attend a state-approved activity training course.
• Valid Maryland driver's license with an acceptable driving record required.

Nice To Haves

• CNA certification preferred.
• At least one year of experience working with older adults preferred.
• Activity programming experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with planning and leading activities, events, and community outings.
• Encourage and escort residents to activities and meals.
• Maintain activity calendars and schedules.
• Decorate for holidays, seasons, and special events.
• Document resident participation and preferences in PointClickCare.
• Build positive relationships with residents and support their social and emotional well-being.
• Assist with resident assessments, volunteer programs, and other department responsibilities.
• Attend required meetings and training programs.
