Life Enrichment Assistant/Driver-Keene
About The Position
Under the general direction of the Life Enrichment Director, primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the overall responsibility of enriching the lives of our residents. This role involves providing transportation for residents, engaging in prospective resident visits, performing new resident orientations, and developing programs based on the Whole Person Wellness Model. The position also requires updating decorations, overseeing the volunteer program, and ensuring high-quality customer service. The company, American House Senior Living Communities, founded in 1979, aims to provide high-quality, affordable senior housing and enrich the lives of residents through meaningful relationships and passionate care.
Requirements
- Must obtain a chauffeur's license within 90 days of hire.
- Must be able to drive a 14-passenger bus.
- Must be available to work weekends and sometimes weekends for events.
- Proficiency with software applications/programs/tools used by American House for Life Enrichment position.
Nice To Haves
- Performing 16 hours or less per week of driving the bus.
Responsibilities
- Enrich the lives of residents.
- Provide the highest quality of customer service for residents.
- Engage in prospective resident visits.
- Perform welcome orientation with new residents.
- Develop programs based on the Whole Person Wellness Model, incorporating at least 2 of the 6 experiences (Intellectual, Social, Emotional, Vocational, and Spiritual).
- Use iPad to enrich residents' lives and for community TVs and Facebook.
- Be proficient with software applications/programs/tools used by American House for the Life Enrichment position.
- Schedule weekend activities.
- Be available to work weekends and sometimes weekends for events.
- Represent American House professionally in all community events.
- Drive a 14-passenger bus.
- Provide transportation for group events and personal appointments.
- Update seasonal/holiday decorations throughout the building.
- Oversee the volunteer program.
- Notify the Life Enrichment Director of emergency situations.
