Memory Care Activity Assistant
About The Position
Bridge Senior Living, a certified Great Place to Work (2025-2026), is seeking a Life Engagement Assistant to make a difference in the lives of others. This role is responsible for planning, implementing, coordinating, and evaluating a program of therapeutic recreational activities for residents, fostering enjoyment and overall wellness. The assistant will consult with other departments, assist in coordinating transportation for activities and appointments, and may occasionally be responsible for resident transportation. Additionally, the role involves assisting in the preparation of the monthly Community newsletter.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- CPR Certified
- Valid State of Residence Driver’s License with safe driving record
- At least 1 year of related work experience in Senior Living
Responsibilities
- Planning, implementing, coordinating, and evaluating a program of therapeutic recreational activities for residents.
- Establishing, promoting, and supporting programs fostering enjoyment and overall wellness.
- Consulting with other departments in implementing appropriate activities for Residents.
- Assisting in coordinating transportation for scheduled activities and resident appointments.
- May occasionally be responsible for resident transportation.
- Assisting in preparation of monthly Community newsletter.
