About The Position

A Life Engagement Assistant plans, implements, coordinates, and evaluates therapeutic recreational activities for residents. The role establishes, promotes, and supports programs that foster enjoyment and overall wellness, and consults with other departments to implement appropriate activities. The assistant helps coordinate transportation for scheduled activities and resident appointments and may occasionally transport residents. The role also assists with preparing the monthly community newsletter.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• CPR certification.
• Valid driver’s license in the state of residence and a safe driving record.
• At least one year of related work experience in senior living.
