About The Position

We are seeking an experienced professional with strong expertise in Employee Benefits and Relationship Management to join our team. This role focuses on supporting employers by providing exceptional service, educating contacts on health and life plans, and ensuring smooth administration of benefits programs.

Requirements

  • Employee Benefits Expertise (4+ years)
  • In-depth knowledge of health plans (PPO, POS, Dental, Vision, etc.)
  • Experience onboarding new member groups and resolving benefits-related issues
  • Ability to prepare underwriting materials and coordinate renewals
  • Relationship Management & Customer Service (4+ years)
  • Proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships with employer contacts
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Insurance/Risk Management, Business Administration, or related field
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field
  • 2–4 years of experience in group employee health benefit marketing, customer service, or administration
  • Strong customer service orientation and excellent communication skills (oral and written)
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working with state and local government entities
  • 4+ years of experience in Employee Benefits and Relationship Management

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for member group benefits inquiries, troubleshooting issues promptly and professionally.
  • Educate employer contacts on plan provisions and assist with claims resolution.
  • Prepare and submit underwriting materials for quote proposals and onboarding new member groups.
  • Coordinate mid-year renewal materials and assist in discussions regarding plan changes.
  • Provide training for employer contacts and occasionally employees on benefits systems and applications.
  • Present marketing webinars and demonstrations to staff to promote program participation.
  • Maintain current knowledge of applicable laws, regulations, and industry trends.
  • Organize and prioritize workload to meet deadlines and ensure accuracy.
  • Collaborate with Life & Health team members to ensure timely and accurate enrollments and changes.
