This position is responsible for assessing, developing, delivering, evaluating training, recording, and tracking all mandated, elective and specialty training of all staff for the facility. The role includes supervision of assigned training staff and contributes to the administration of the performance management system for staff. The Lieutenant will also conduct ongoing inspections to maintain the security, sanitation, and good order of the institution. Interaction with management, staff, visitors, inmates, and the public is required to maintain orderly and secure operations.
