About The Position

Wilshire Law Firm is seeking a Liens Negotiator for its Liens department. The role manages legal cases in the liens stage and negotiates with medical providers to help achieve the best outcomes for clients’ settlements. The negotiator communicates with governmental and private insurance carriers, hospitals, healthcare providers, clients, and colleagues; maintains accurate case data and documents; and builds rapport with potential clients. Requirements

At least 2 years of experience negotiating liens for personal injury cases.
Strong knowledge of medical treatment and types of medical providers.
Strong computer skills and experience with Office 365.
Proactive and detail-oriented.
Superior communication and organizational skills.

Nice To Haves

Bilingual in Spanish.

Responsibilities

Communicate with governmental insurance programs and carriers, including Medi-Cal, Medicare, Medicaid, and VA, as well as private insurance carriers.
Negotiate liens with hospitals and healthcare providers on behalf of clients.
Communicate effectively with doctors’ offices, coworkers, and clients.
Update the firm’s database promptly and accurately.
Upload and share pertinent documents appropriately.
Build strong rapport with potential clients.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
