About The Position

We are looking for a Technical Automation Lead to join our team and redefine the future of quality assurance in the banking sector. This role is an opportunity to transform the quality strategy, leading the adoption of resilient automations, generating a direct impact on the business, and consolidating as the key bridge between technological strategy and operational success. You will be responsible for designing and implementing a standardized and reusable automation architecture, defining tool-agnostic governance frameworks, integrating test automation within the CI/CD pipeline, and incorporating resilient automation capabilities. You will also execute As-Is diagnostics of the testing ecosystem, generate key metrics and KPIs, and ensure rigorous compliance with Definition of Ready and Definition of Done.

Requirements

• Professional in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Informatics, or related technological disciplines.
• Minimum of 5 years of practical experience as a test automation engineer.
• At least 3 years of demonstrable experience leading automation teams, including defining architectures, standards, and test governance models.
• Knowledge in designing automation governance frameworks (methodology, RACI, branching, versioning).
• Knowledge in automation architecture by levels (Integration/API, system, E2E) and design patterns.
• Knowledge in strategies based on the automation pyramid and Contract Testing.
• Advanced integration in CI/CD pipelines (Continuous Testing).
• Knowledge in resilient automation practices (self-healing) and execution by impact analysis.
• Knowledge in risk analysis and technical test prioritization.
• Experience using ALM platforms like Azure DevOps or Jira for traceability between requirements and testing.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement a standardized and reusable automation architecture (with API-first and E2E focus) to sustain maintainable solutions.
• Define tool-agnostic governance frameworks, covering guidelines, methodologies, RACI matrices, and life cycles scalable to diverse business units.
• Integrate test automation within the CI/CD pipeline, ensuring a solid and consistent Continuous Testing flow.
• Incorporate resilient automation capabilities (self-healing) and intelligent executions based on impact analysis.
• Execute As-Is diagnostics of the testing ecosystem (Web, SAP, APIs) to map out roadmaps that eliminate technical gaps and mitigate risks.
• Generate and analyze key metrics, KPIs, and the ROI of the automation practice to visualize strategic value to stakeholders.
• Ensure rigorous compliance with Definition of Ready and Definition of Done, guiding the team through code reviews and collaborative best practices.
