Central Oklahoma Community Mental Health Center (COCMHC) in Norman, Oklahoma, is seeking a dedicated Licensed Behavioral Health Professional who is passionate about helping individuals achieve recovery, wellness, and long-term success. Requirements

  • Master's degree in psychology, social work, counseling, or closely related field.
  • Licensed: Must be a practitioner with a license to practice in the state issued by one of the following licensure boards: Psychology; Social Work (clinical specialty only); Professional Counselor; Marriage and Family Therapist; Behavioral Practitioner; or Alcohol and Drug Counselor. (LCSW, LPC, LMFT, LBP, LADC, LADC/MH)
  • Under Supervision: Must be actively and regularly receiving board approved supervision, and extended supervision by a fully licensed clinician if board's supervision requirement is met by the individual is not yet licensed, to become licensed by one of the following licensure boards: Psychology; Social Work (clinical specialty only); Professional Counselor; Marriage and Family Therapist; Behavioral Practitioner; or Alcohol and Drug Counselor. Responsibilities

  • Lead weekly pre-court staffing meetings and provide updates to the Specialty Courts Team regarding participant progress, needs, and treatment recommendations.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary Specialty Courts staffing and court proceedings, offering clinical recommendations and advocating for participants' treatment and recovery needs.
  • Facilitate weekly therapeutic groups designed to support participant engagement, skill development, and recovery.
  • Conduct regular and as-needed clinical assessments to ensure individualized treatment planning and appropriate levels of care.
  • Collaborate with treatment providers, court personnel, and community partners to promote positive outcomes for participants.
  • Provide services and support to a high-risk, high-needs population with complex behavioral health and substance use treatment needs.
