We are hiring a Community Engagement-Licensing Specialist who will be accountable for community outreach, events, marketing, and partnership efforts in the Genesee County area to raise awareness about the need for foster families. The person we hire will create and strengthen Genesee County community engagement with Samaritas and our work in the Child Welfare field to better serve children and families. Duties include coordinating and participating in targeted recruitment, training, and retention activities to support foster caregivers. Samaritas is a Michigan-based human service organization that connects people with families and communities, empowers them to live their fullest life possible, and creates a ripple effect of transformation. The reference to the work of the Good Samaritan in our name is especially fitting as it is consistent with our mission, values and the services our faith-based company provides. This position has a starting rate of pay of $43,888 annually.
