About The Position

The Licensing & Contract Administrator is responsible for managing company and project licensing requirements while administering construction contracts, subcontracts, and related documentation. This role ensures regulatory compliance, contractual accuracy, and risk mitigation across all projects and jurisdictions. This role is critical to maintaining compliance, protecting the company from regulatory and contractual risk, and ensuring operational efficiency across a multi-state commercial construction portfolio Building Trust. Requirements

  • Demonstrates and models Sachse Construction’s core values
  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred (Business, Construction Management, Legal Studies, or related field)
  • 3+ years of experience in construction administration, contract administration, licensing, or compliance
  • Experience with commercial construction contracts and subcontract administration
  • Familiarity with contractor licensing requirements across multiple jurisdictions strongly preferred

Responsibilities

  • Manage and maintain all company business licenses, contractor licenses, and registrations at the local, state, and federal levels
  • Track licensing requirements by jurisdiction and ensure timely renewals, updates, and filings
  • Prepare and submit license applications, renewals, amendments, and supporting documentation
  • Coordinate licensing requirements for new markets, entities, and project locations
  • Maintain an accurate, audit-ready licensing database and compliance calendar
  • Verify subcontractor licensing and registration compliance as required by contract and law
  • Monitor regulatory and licensing changes and communicate impacts to internal stakeholder
  • Support audits, regulatory inquiries, and due diligence requests related to licensing
  • Prepare, process, and administer contracts, subcontracts, purchase orders, amendments, and change orders
  • Ensure contracts align with company standards, legal requirements, and project-specific terms
  • Coordinate contract execution, including signatures, insurance certificates, bonds, and required exhibits
  • Maintain complete and organized contract files for all projects
  • Track key contractual deadlines, notice requirements, and compliance obligations
  • Assist project teams with contract interpretation and administrative requirements
  • Coordinate with Legal on contract reviews, revisions, and risk-related provisions
  • Support subcontractor onboarding, including compliance documentation and contract setup
  • Assist with audits, claims, disputes, and project closeout by providing contract and compliance documentation
