About The Position

The Travel Licensed Vocational Nurse (LPN/LVN) will monitor and record patients’ vital signs and medical information, administer medications and treatments as prescribed, and assist patients with daily living activities. This role involves observing patients, reporting changes in condition, maintaining accurate patient records, and educating patients and families. The LVN will also ensure a safe environment and assist healthcare professionals during examinations and procedures.

Requirements

• Strong patient care and communication skills
• Knowledge of nursing practices and medical terminology
• Ability to multitask in fast-paced healthcare environments
• Compassion, patience, and attention to detail
• Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to operate basic medical equipment
• Completion of an accredited Licensed Vocational Nursing program
• Active LVN/LPN license in the state of practice

Nice To Haves

• CPR/BLS certification
• Previous clinical experience

Responsibilities

• Monitor and record patients’ vital signs and medical information
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
• Assist patients with bathing, dressing, eating, and personal hygiene
• Change wound dressings and provide basic wound care
• Collect samples for laboratory testing
• Observe patients and report changes in condition to RNs or physicians
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
• Educate patients and families about healthcare needs and treatment plans
• Ensure a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for patients
• Assist physicians and registered nurses during examinations and procedures

Benefits

• Pay Rate: $17/hr. $25.50/hr. OT
• Per Diem: $135/day (Estimated $945/week)
