About The Position
Delta View Post Acute is seeking a dependable and flexible Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to join their team on an on-call basis. This role is ideal for a nurse who values adaptability and is committed to providing high-quality care when coverage is needed. As an on-call LVN, you will step in to support the clinical team, ensure continuity of care, and uphold the facility's standards of excellence.
Requirements
- Active California LVN license in good standing
- Strong clinical skills with the ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Reliable, responsive, and able to work on short notice
Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to residents, including medication administration, treatments, and assessments
- Respond to staffing needs and fill shifts as required, including weekends and holidays
- Supervise and support Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) during assigned shifts
- Monitor residents’ conditions and promptly report changes to the appropriate clinical leadership
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations and facility policies
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of care and services provided
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, and interdisciplinary team members
