About The Position

Deliver compassionate, high-quality patient care under the direction of a Registered Nurse or Physician, serving as a trusted caregiver within your professional scope of license. Support accurate health assessments by continually observing patient well-being, recognizing changes in condition, and advocating for optimal health outcomes. Administer medications and treatments safely, meticulously monitoring for adverse reactions to ensure patient comfort, safety, and rapid recovery. Perform routine laboratory tests and therapeutic services efficiently to support timely diagnostic decisions and personalized care plans. Empower patients and their families through clear education on treatment plans, post-discharge self-care, holistic wellness, and community resources to ensure long-term success at home.

Requirements

  • BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Cross accepted.
  • Graduate of an accredited practical or vocational nursing program permit (GVN) obtained prior to start date or job transfer date is required-OR-Temporary or Current Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurse (LPN/LVN) license to practice in the state of Texas is required or must be obtained prior to hire or job transfer date-OR current home state license for multi-state license recognition through the Nurse Licensure Compact is required or must be obtained prior to hire or job transfer date.
  • High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
  • Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN): Dependable, team-oriented professional with a positive attitude and a commitment to delivering high-quality collaborative care.
