About The Position

Avid Healthcare Services is hiring Licensed Vocational Nurses (LVNs) to work at Correctional Facilities in Northern California. This is a per diem position. Assignments are located and required in both Downtown Sacramento & Elk Grove locations. Both facilities are open seven (7) days a week. Your availability is one of the criteria reviewed for consideration for this assignment. Your availability is how your schedule is created based on the needs of either facility location. All candidates must be available to work days as specified on the availability you submit.

Requirements

• Current CA LVN License
• Current CPR/BLS Certification
• 2 years minimum experience
• Familiarity with medical software and equipment
• Ability to build rapport with patients
• Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Demonstrate the ability to effectively use the nursing process

Responsibilities

• Work at Correctional Facilities in Northern California.
• Provide nursing care.
• Be available to work days as specified on availability submitted.
• Be available for 2 weekend days/month (2 Saturdays, 2 Sundays or Sat/Sun).
