The facility provides long-term treatment services to people with a primary medical diagnosis and specialized behavioral management needs – for example, Alzheimer’s or dementia.
Requirements
- Current licensure in California as an LVN
- Current CPR and first aid certifications.
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience in mental health nursing preferred.
Responsibilities
- The Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) provides direct nursing care to the clients according to physicians’ orders and applicable client care standards, within their scope of practice.
- The Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) will provide direction to non-licensed personnel in providing direct client care and operation of the unit.
