About The Position
PAM Health is hiring a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to provide appropriate nursing care on the nursing unit as directed by an RN. Care must be delivered in an age- and population-appropriate manner and in accordance with PAM Health policies, procedures, and guidelines. The role includes gathering and reporting data, carrying out orders, and performing therapeutic procedures on patients, as well as other related duties as assigned or requested. Requirements
- Current licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse/Licensed Vocational Nurse (LPN/LVN) in the state where the hospital resides, or compact licensure if the state participates.
- Current BLS certification; BLS certification must be AHA approved within 90 days of employment.
- Current IV certification within 90 days of employment, if required by state regulations.
Nice To Haves
- One year of inpatient medical-surgical nursing experience is preferred but not required.
