The Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) / Licensed Psychiatric Technician (LPT) is responsible for monitoring and documenting clients' physical and mental health status, administering and documenting medications as prescribed, and communicating any concerns to the Registered Nurse and attending physician. This role participates in treatment team meetings, shift exchanges, and daily rounds while helping coordinate and oversee nursing activities to ensure quality client care. Additional responsibilities include providing nursing interventions within the scope of licensure, supporting the admission process by reviewing admission documentation, coordinating admissions, completing required verifications and forms, and helping maintain full utilization of program beds. Population Served: Serving youth, ages 12-17, dealing with acute psychiatric symptoms Facility & Setting: 24/7 inpatient Involuntary program, 16-bed facility Clinical Services: Admission; engagement; learning; stabilization and linkage to resources and aftercare Skills & Services: Intensive treatment programs with individualized care plans.
