Full Time Licensed Vocational Nurse, LVN (AM)
About The Position
Silverado Hermann Park is hiring a Licensed Vocational Nurse to provide clinical care and compassionate support to residents living with Alzheimer’s, dementia, and other memory-impairing conditions. The role combines medical expertise, empathy, and relationship-building to help residents live with dignity and joy in a team-focused environment. The nurse serves as a liaison among residents, families, and physicians; provides clinical support and assists with daily living activities; monitors resident health and maintains care documentation; and helps sustain a safe, respectful, engaging environment. This is a full-time AM-shift position with variable days and 12-hour shifts. The anticipated pay range is $30–$33 USD.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited Vocational Nursing program.
- Active LVN/LPN license.
- Reliable transportation to meet attendance and punctuality standards.
- Effective verbal and written English communication.
- Ability to walk, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Comfort working around animals and pets.
Nice To Haves
- Experience in senior care or memory care settings.
Responsibilities
- Serve as a compassionate liaison between residents, families, and physicians.
- Provide clinical support and assist residents with daily living activities, including bathing, grooming, and mobility.
- Monitor resident health and maintain accurate care documentation.
