About The Position

This role involves delivering high-quality clinical care under the guidance of a registered nurse or physician, ensuring all treatments align perfectly with your scope of practice and safety standards. You will contribute to patient health assessments by actively observing well-being and identifying critical changes to help the care team make informed, timely medical decisions. Administer medications safely and monitor patients closely for adverse reactions, prioritizing patient comfort and swift intervention when needed. Perform essential diagnostic tests and therapeutic services to provide the accurate data required for effective treatment planning. Empower patients and their families through dedicated education on holistic health, discharge self-care, and community resources to ensure a smooth, confident transition home.

Requirements

BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Cross accepted.
Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurse credentialed from the Texas Board of Nursing required.
High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
2 years of LVN experience
Pediatric experience
