Licensed Vocational Nurse
About The Position
Merakey is seeking a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to join their Chico team, supporting individuals in their IDD residential programs. This role offers clear career growth opportunities, experience in behavioral health, IDD, and residential care, hands-on exposure to care coordination and interdisciplinary teamwork, and the opportunity to grow into leadership, case management, or clinical roles. The position features a Monday-Friday schedule from 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM with a 30-minute lunch, a small caseload for individualized care, and no nights, weekends, or on-call expectations.
Requirements
- Active California LVN license (required)
- Valid driver’s license (required)
- Must be 18+ years old

- Experience with developmental disabilities or residential care (preferred)
- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care including assessments, treatments, and follow-up
- Support a small caseload, allowing for more individualized care
- Coordinate care with providers and interdisciplinary teams
- Monitor health conditions and respond proactively to medical needs
- Participate in care planning and program collaboration
