Tier 3- Provide 8 shift availability per month. Both tiers are to include -1 full weekend per month , 2 major , and 1 minor holiday.
Requirements
- Holds current licensure as a Licensed Vocational Nurse/ Licensed Practical Nurse in the state where the hospital resides.
- Current BLS certification is required.
- Crisis management certification per hospital policy and standards required.
Nice To Haves
- One year of inpatient behavioral health nursing experience preferred but not required.
Responsibilities
- Under the direction of the Chief Nursing Officer or House Supervisor, the Licensed Vocational Nurse (LPN/LVN) is responsible for utilizing the nursing process while delivering, directing and supervising care to patients admitted to the nursing unit.
- The Licensed Vocational Nurse plans, coordinates, and provides patient care to include interdisciplinary planning, discharge planning, patient and family teaching for post-hospitalization, and accessing community resources.
