About The Position
Texas Health Plano is seeking a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) for their Emergency Department (ED) to join their Full Time Mid-Shift team. Requirements
- Graduate of an Accredited Vocational Nursing Program required
- Six (6) months in an acute care hospital setting or completion of THR Residency program required
- LVN—Licensed Vocational Nurse—Upon hire required
- BCLS -Basic Cardiac Life Support—Prior to providing independent patient care & maintained quarterly—required
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with team to facilitate hourly rounding and initiate action to meet patient needs
- Takes action to reduce/eliminate patient risks
- Collects Data and reports significant findings to RN
- Uses nursing model to obtain adequate data to initiate implement and revise plan of care to meet patient, physician, and family needs.
