Licensed Vocational Nurse - SubAcute
About The Position
The Licensed Vocational Nurse is a member of the patient care team who provides direct nursing care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. The LVN follows residents’ Plans of Care, provides treatments, and collaborates with the care team to meet patient needs and support positive care outcomes. The role includes administering medications and treatments, implementing and documenting timely interventions within the California LVN scope of practice, obtaining and recording physical assessment data based on residents’ diagnoses and care plans, communicating resident status to the Registered Nurse, responding appropriately to resident requests and call lights, and delivering consistent quality care so assigned residents remain clean and comfortable.
Requirements
- Valid California Vocational Nurse (LVN) license.
- One year of clinical experience as a Licensed Vocational Nurse in an acute and/or subacute hospital environment.
- BLS required.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication and organizational skills.
- Basic computer skills.

Responsibilities
