About The Position
Moraga Post Acute is seeking a compassionate and skilled Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to join our nursing team on a part-time basis. We are currently hiring for all shifts (AM, PM, and NOC). This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated nursing professional who is passionate about delivering high-quality care and enhancing the lives of our residents. As an LVN, you will play a key role in providing direct nursing care, supporting interdisciplinary care planning, and ensuring the highest standards of resident health and well-being.
Requirements
- Current California LVN license in good standing
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Skilled nursing or post-acute care experience preferred
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Commitment to providing compassionate, resident-focused care
Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care in accordance with physician orders and individualized care plans
- Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely
- Monitor resident conditions and promptly report changes to the supervising nurse or physician
- Complete accurate and timely documentation of care provided
- Assist with admissions, discharges, and resident assessments
- Collaborate with physicians, therapists, CNAs, and other healthcare professionals
- Supervise and support Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs)
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and facility regulations
- Promote a positive, safe, and resident-centered environment
