About The Position
The Licensed Vocational Nurse is responsible for providing direct patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. Responsibilities include following the plan of care, providing treatments, and working collaboratively with the members of the team to help meet positive patient care outcomes.
Requirements
- Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) with current and unencumbered license to practice professional nursing in the state of employment
- Has two (2) years of recent nursing experience
- Possess and maintain valid CPR certification. Must have obtained in-person with a practical skills evaluation as part of the final test
- Complies with accepted professional standards and practice
- Demonstrates good verbal and written communication, and organization skills
- Access to reliable transportation
Nice To Haves
- Associates' degree in Vocational/Practical Nursing from an accredited program
- Community/home health or medical/surgical experience
