About The Position

cTrace Solutions is seeking a LVN in San Angelo, TX. This role offers competitive pay, weekly compensation, and a Sign-on bonus. The position is for an Assisted Living Center and involves administering medications and treatments, performing nursing procedures, documenting observations, and responding to emergencies. The LVN will also monitor individuals, collect specimens, provide health education, and manage medical records. Attendance and flexibility with shift schedules are expected.

Requirements

Licensed to practice as a licensed vocational nurse in the state of Texas (or a state that recognizes reciprocity through the Nurse Licensure Compact).
Ability to communicate both orally and in writing.
Demonstrated computer & electronic health record skills preferred.
Experience with IDD and psych preferred.

Responsibilities

Administers medications and treatments orally, rectally, internally, or by injection.
Performs technical Nursing procedures according to facility and state regulations after demonstration for competency.
Documents and reports pertinent observations.
Communicates orally and in writing to other team members pertinent information. Documents according to facility policy.
Responds to emergency situations to ensure safety of individuals. Follows safety and Infection Control Procedures of facility.
Monitors individuals for treatments and procedures.
Collects specimens for laboratory examination and conducts appropriate screening tests (after competency is documented) when requested by lab personnel.
Provides education to individuals with specific health goals.
Assists other staff in turning/repositioning individuals to administer treatments.
Ensures that supplies are available.
Manages individual’s medical record in Electronic Health Record or paper chart.
Attends work on a regular basis and may be required to work a specific shift schedule or, at times, even a rotating schedule, extended shift and/or overtime in accordance with agency leave policy and performs other duties as assigned.
