Part-Time PM Shift Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN)
About The Position
The Pines at Placerville Healthcare Center is seeking a Part-Time PM Shift LVN to join their dedicated nursing team. This role is ideal for an LVN who enjoys working evening hours while making a meaningful impact in the lives of residents through quality nursing care, teamwork, and compassion. The position involves providing direct nursing care, supervising CNAs, administering medications and treatments, monitoring resident conditions, completing charting, assisting with admissions/transfers/discharges, and responding to resident needs. The LVN plays an essential role in creating a positive and caring experience for residents every shift.
Requirements
- Active California LVN license in good standing
- Skilled nursing or long-term care experience preferred
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment
- Compassionate, dependable, and resident-focused approach to care
- Passion for serving seniors and supporting quality of life

Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional direct nursing care to residents with professionalism and compassion
- Support and supervise CNAs to ensure quality resident care during PM shifts
- Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely
- Monitor resident conditions and promptly communicate changes to the interdisciplinary team
- Complete required charting and maintain accurate documentation
- Assist with admissions, transfers, and discharges as needed
- Respond quickly and effectively to resident needs and emergencies
- Help maintain a clean, safe, and organized care environment
- Promote resident dignity, comfort, safety, and wellbeing
- Collaborate with nurses, physicians, therapists, and support staff to ensure continuity of care
