About The Position
Cypress Ridge Care Center is a premier skilled nursing facility committed to delivering top-tier compassionate care. We are seeking a reliable, clinically skilled, and empathetic Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to join our team on the AM shift. Operating on a stable 4 on, 2 off rotating schedule, you will provide high-quality nursing care, administer medications, and oversee the care team to ensure the highest standards of safety and resident wellness.
Requirements
- Active, unencunbered California LVN license.
- Current CPR / BLS certification.
- Strong clinical skills and knowledge of skilled nursing/long-term care regulations.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving abilities.
Nice To Haves
- Experience with PointClickCare or similar EMR systems preferred.
Responsibilities
- Administer medications, treatments, and ordered therapies according to resident care plans.
- Assess resident conditions, monitor vital signs, and promptly report any changes to the RN or physician.
- Maintain accurate, timely electronic medical records (EMR) and shift reports.
- Supervise and support Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) on duty to ensure seamless daily care.
- Act as a primary point of contact for residents, family members, and attending physicians.
