About The Position
San Dimas Community Hospital is a 101-bed facility dedicated to serving the community with personalized, high-quality care. We offer a full range of comprehensive services, including 24-hour emergency services, a family birth center, orthopedic surgery, advanced diagnostic services, cardiopulmonary and gastrointestinal services. We are nationally recognized, locally preferred, and community-focused, and we are looking for dedicated healthcare professionals to join our award-winning team.
Requirements
- Current and valid state license as a Licensed Vocational Nurse.
- Current BLS certificate upon hire and maintain current.
- IV certification upon hire.
Nice To Haves
- Blood Withdrawal (BW) certification preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provides direct and indirect patient care services requiring technical and manual skills, within the scope of practice, that meet the psychosocial, physical and general aspects of care, and meets the communication needs of the patient and family.
- Performs under the direction and supervision of a Registered Nurse.
- Demonstrates knowledge of EMTALA Regulations and triage process in the ER setting.
