The Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) or Licensed Psychiatric Technician (LPT) is a member of the interdisciplinary team that supports the people we serve in their recovery journey. The Licensed Nurse provides direct nursing care to clients in treatment planning, medication administration, assessments, and support according to physicians’ orders and applicable client care standards within their scope of practice. The nurse will provide direction to non-licensed personnel in providing direct client care and operating the unit.

Requirements

Current licensure in California as an LVN or LPT.
Ability to supervise.
Ability to work cooperatively with other staff members.
Current CPR and first aid certifications.

Nice To Haves

Previous experience in mental health nursing is preferred.
Knowledge of DBT, WRAP, and Psychosocial Rehabilitation Principles is preferred.

Responsibilities
