About The Position
The Licensed Vocational Nurse/Licensed Practical Nurse (LVN/LPN) puts resident service first and ensures residents and their families receive high-quality care. Under the direction of a registered nurse, the LVN/LPN delivers a full range of nursing care, including admitting, transferring, and discharging residents; conducting daily rounds to observe residents’ physical and emotional status; administering medications; monitoring care provided by unlicensed staff; maintaining confidentiality of resident care information; and promoting a safe practice and living environment. The role is part of a collaborative, compassionate, family-oriented healthcare team focused on trust, communication, and care.
Requirements
- Current LVN/LPN licensure to practice in the state.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Basic knowledge of computer use or willingness to learn.
Nice To Haves
- Experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) environment.
- Nursing experience providing direct care to multiple residents.
- Behavioral care or memory care experience.
- Experience with PointClickCare (PCC).
Responsibilities
