Marin Community Clinics, founded in 1972, is a multi-clinic network providing integrated primary care, dental, behavioral, specialty, and referral services. The Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) – Infectious Diseases is a patient-facing role within the Infectious Diseases team. This role provides direct clinical nursing care and administrative support for patients with infectious diseases and complex needs, including those with HIV/AIDS, tuberculosis, Hepatitis C, sexually transmitted diseases, and patients receiving PrEP or PEP services. Working under protocols and collaborating with providers, RNs, behavioral health, dental, front office, pharmacies, public health, and community partners, the LVN supports clinic flow, performs LVN and MA duties, coordinates follow-up care, facilitates specialty clinic activities, conducts outreach and tracking, and reinforces patient education to improve access, continuity, and health outcomes.
