About The Position
Billet Health is expanding and seeking compassionate, skilled Licensed Vocational Nurses (LVNs) to join their Home Health team in the Palm Springs area. They provide personalized home health services through a 9-week episode of care, focusing on exceptional clinical outcomes and meaningful patient relationships. As a PRN team member, you will have flexibility, autonomy, and the chance to contribute to a growing agency dedicated to quality care.
Requirements
- Active California Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) license
- Current Physical
- CPR/BLS Certification
- Valid driver's license and auto insurance
- Valid TB documentation: Skin test within 1 year OR Chest X-ray within 5 years
- One full week of home health training availability required (Monday–Friday)
Responsibilities
- Provide skilled nursing services in accordance with physician orders and the individualized plan of care
- Monitor patient conditions and promptly report changes to the supervising Registered Nurse and care team
- Administer treatments and medications as ordered
- Educate patients and families on disease management and home care needs
- Document patient care accurately and timely
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure quality patient outcomes
