SCADP Southern California Alcohol and Drug Programs, Inc. (SCADP) was established in 1972 in a grassroots effort by community volunteers seeking alternatives for individuals with substance use disorder (SUD). SCADP is a 501 (c) (3) non-profit organization providing residential and outpatient substance abuse treatment. The Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) provides professional nursing services for this residential substance use program. As a patient advocate, the LVN will also provide limited physical examinations, medication support, detox withdrawal management care, and MAT educational services. Clients are assessed using the full American Society of Addiction Medicine (ASAM) assessment and receive services including education and counseling groups, individual counseling sessions, case management, transportation, and random drug screening.
