About The Position

VCA Veterinary Emergency and Referral Center of Westbury is seeking a licensed veterinary technician (or eligible) to join their growing ER/ICU hospital team. The role involves supporting pets and the community with advanced veterinary care. Responsibilities

• Procedural anesthesia monitoring
• Ability to calculate drug doses
• Full Technician Skill Utilization
• Collecting patient histories & thorough physical exams
• Venipuncture / IVC placement
• Hands Free Radiology (Associate safety a top priority)
• Working collaboratively with team members of all hospital services
• Providing compassionate care for all patients
• Imaging and advanced procedures
• Paid on-call availability
