About The Position

VCA Flannery Animal Hospital is seeking an experienced Licensed Veterinary Technician to join our well-established, multi-doctor, 24-hour emergency and general practice in New Windsor, NY. This role includes supporting our critical overnight emergency care services, where timely, skilled intervention is essential to patient outcomes. Candidates should be confident in handling urgent and complex cases, comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, and committed to delivering high-quality, compassionate care during overnight shifts when pets and their families need it most.

Requirements

Licensed Veterinary Technician (CVT, RVT, LVT)
Experienced
Confident in handling urgent and complex cases
Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
Committed to delivering high-quality, compassionate care
Flexible schedule and the ability to work evenings, weekends, and some holidays.

Support technician and doctor teams by creating a positive, low-stress atmosphere for our clients and patients.
Win the confidence of every pet parent by delivering an outstanding client experience, so we can provide exceptional care to every patient.
Utilize skills including, but not limited to: Physical examinations and patient assessment, Anesthesia monitoring, Surgical preparation and assisting, Radiology, Laboratory work, Venipuncture, Catheter placement, Pharmacy, Patient recovery, Compassionate care of our hospitalized animals.
