Requirements

  • 1+ years of experience as a LVT in a GP setting
  • Availability to work weekends (Saturday or Sunday)
  • Comfortable with computers and online tools
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs
  • A thoughtful and fearless team player
  • A go-getter who thrives in a fast-paced environment
  • Skilled at communicating with clients
  • Passionate about pets

Responsibilities

  • Triaging patients and recognizing medical emergencies and illnesses
  • Assessing patients and recording vitals
  • Assisting doctors with diagnostics
  • Completing treatments as instructed by the doctor
  • Providing basic husbandry and nursing care
  • Monitoring patients for changes and providing compassionate care
  • Taking blood samples
  • Placing catheters
  • Assisting in and facilitating radiography capture
  • Preparing samples for outside reference labs
  • Running in-house labs
  • Preparing and administering medications
  • Maintaining a hospitable environment
