About The Position

VCA Veterinary Specialty and Emergency Center of Kalamazoo, a 24/7/365 emergency, critical care and specialty practice, located in Portage, MI, is now open in our new state-of-the-art facility, and we are hiring a Licensed Veterinary Technician for our new Neurology Service. Requirements

• Licensed Veterinary Technician
• Expertise and technical know-how to make high quality veterinary medicine and patient care happen
• Ability to create a positive, low-stress atmosphere for clients and patients

• Experience in Neurology

Responsibilities

• Anesthesia monitoring
• Collecting patient histories & physical exams
• Venipuncture / IVC placement
• Hands Free Radiology (Associate safety a top priority)
• Working collaboratively with team members of all hospital services
• Providing compassionate care for all patients
