About The Position

CapitolHill Consortium for Counseling & Consultation, LLC (CCCC) is a well-established, multidisciplinary healthcare and behavioral health group practice serving clients throughout the Washington, D.C., Maryland, and Virginia region. We are seeking one or more licensed therapists to join our collaborative clinical team and provide high-quality, culturally responsive, patient-centered care to diverse populations across the lifespan. Licensed therapists who specialize in child, adolescent, adult, and elder care are welcome. At CCCC, we believe your career should evolve—not plateau. We don’t just offer a place to see clients. Requirements

  • Independently licensed in Virginia or Maryland.
  • Licensure in Washington, D.C. is preferred, with priority given to clinicians licensed across all jurisdictions.
  • Must be able to accept clients who are insured by Medicaid or Medicare.
  • Priority consideration given to clinicians willing to serve pre-adolescent populations.
  • Passion for high-quality, compassionate mental health care.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development.
  • Desired experience 1-3 years.
  • Must be local.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working with range of diverse clientele.
  • Availability during after-school hours, evenings, or weekends.
  • Willingness to work a hybrid schedule (some in-person availability preferred).

Responsibilities

  • Conduct psychological evaluations, gather clinical histories, administer appropriate assessments, and develop diagnostic impressions when within their scope of practice.
  • Provide evidence-based psychotherapy and other appropriate psychological interventions tailored to clients’ needs.
  • Establish goals with clients, monitor progress, modify treatment when needed, and make referrals when another service is more appropriate.
  • Assess and respond appropriately to risks such as suicide, self-harm, abuse, violence, or other urgent concerns, following applicable laws and professional standards.
  • Maintain accurate, timely, and secure clinical records, including assessments, treatment plans, progress notes, and relevant communications.
  • Other responsibilities as required.
