About The Position

Massachusetts Center for Adolescent Wellness (MCAW) of the North Shore offers comprehensive mental health treatment, primarily through therapeutic groups, for adolescents aged 13 to 17 years old. The center emphasizes helping clients make lasting changes through the mutual aid of therapeutic groups and developing and implementing DBT and CBT skills. Family involvement and care coordination are at the forefront of their treatment model. They work with clients experiencing a variety of mental health challenges, combining evidence-based modalities with holistic methods. Clinicians provide treatment services for their Partial Hospitalization Program and Intensive Outpatient Program, which delivers in-person services to adolescents with mental health and substance use disorders.

Requirements

Minimum of (2) years of experience as a Therapist and/or Mental Health Counselor in a mental health environment
Able to work the schedule: In Office Schedule to include daytime 8:45A-5:00P and 11:00A - 7:00P shift a week
For license eligible candidates – PHP and IOP experience is required

Well versed in evidence-based interventions
Requires in-person evaluations
Master's Degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling or related field
