About The Position

Palo Alto Therapy is a therapist-owned practice seeking a licensed therapist (LMFT, LCSW, or LPCC) to work with a varied caseload including individuals, teens, and couples. The practice offers a collaborative and supportive culture, with an administrative team handling scheduling, billing, and marketing. Clients are matched to therapists based on clinical interest and fit. Both in-person and telehealth options are available.

Requirements

  • Active California license required (LMFT, LCSW, or LPCC)
  • Experience working with individuals, teens, and couples required
  • Comfortable using evidence-based approaches (CBT and other modalities)
  • Collaborative, team-oriented mindset
  • Available at least 2 afternoons or evenings per week (weekends a plus)

Nice To Haves

  • Training in Gottman Method or EFT preferred

Responsibilities

  • Provide therapy to individuals, teens, and couples.
  • Focus on clinical work while the administrative team handles scheduling, billing, and marketing.
  • Participate in weekly consultation and skills groups.
  • Engage in couples-specific consultation group and supervision if building or expanding a couples caseload.
  • Utilize evidence-based approaches such as CBT.
