About The Position

Avenues Recovery Center is hiring a Licensed Therapist for its detox and residential treatment facility in South Bend, Indiana. The therapist provides individualized, evidence-based treatment and care for clients receiving addiction treatment. The role includes therapy, case coordination, crisis response, and documentation, while modeling recovery principles and maintaining professional ethics and confidentiality.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in psychology, counseling, or a related field.
• Valid Indiana state licensure or certification to practice as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT.
• Excellent observational, collaborative, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Compassionate, dignified character that models recovery principles.
• Ability to set strong boundaries and maintain absolute confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Create individualized, evidence-based treatment plans for each client.
• Conduct individual, group, family, and couple therapy sessions.
• Manage the clinical needs, services, and aftercare for an assigned client caseload.
• Prevent, intervene in, and de-escalate crises.
• Maintain thorough documentation of clients’ challenges, progress, relapse risk, and interventions.
• Coordinate care with the Clinical Director, treatment team, and clients’ families.
• Model honesty, accountability, dignity, respect, and recovery principles in professional interactions.
