Bakersfield Behavioral Healthcare Hospital, located in Bakersfield, California, is an acute psychiatric and behavioral 90 bed facility situated on 8.8 acres. We offer inpatient and outpatient services for children, adolescents and adults needing mental/behavioral health, chemical dependency; and co-occurring disorders treatment through our medically supervised detoxification. Counsels individuals and groups regarding psychological or emotional problems such as stress, substance abuse, mental or behavioral health issues and/or family situations and develops and implements therapeutic treatment plans, predominantly in our Intensive Outpatient Services unit. Will provide psychotherapeutic services to all patients, to serve as a member of the nterdisciplinary team supporting the organization's treatment programs and philosophy, and will assure the delivery of quality treatment to patients and their families.

Requirements

High School Diploma
Masters Degree in Counseling, Social Work or related field required (MSW, MFT)
At least two (2) years experience with one (1) year in a behavioral or psychiatric setting preferred.
Current, valid, and unrestricted California-issued LCSW, LMFT, or LPCC

Nice To Haves

Previous experience in a mental healthcare hospital environment where your attention was focused on human behavior, psychiatry, psychology, or other mental healthcare situations.

Responsibilities

Develops and implements therapeutic treatment plans, predominantly in our Intensive Outpatient Services unit.
Provide psychotherapeutic services to all patients.
Serve as a member of the interdisciplinary team supporting the organization's treatment programs and philosophy.
Assure the delivery of quality treatment to patients and their families.
