About The Position

Join Daybreak Health's mission to make quality mental healthcare accessible to every student. We partner with over 60 school districts, reaching more than one million students nationwide. Our clinicians enjoy the stability of consistent referrals and a meaningful caseload, allowing you to focus on making a real difference in students' lives. We are seeking compassionate, licensed mental health clinicians to provide teletherapy to students ages 11-24 throughout California. In this role, you will deliver high-quality, evidence-based care while working alongside schools, families, and community partners to help students thrive. This role is open to therapists who are fully licensed in California only; associate and provisionally licensed therapists are not eligible.

Requirements

  • Licensed Professional with LCSW, LPCC, LMFT, or LP credentials in the State of California
  • Passion for youth mental health: Demonstrated commitment to providing culturally responsive, equitable care that honors diverse backgrounds and experiences
  • Experience working with teens and youth ages 11-24 in clinical or school settings
  • Comfortable with telehealth: Experience providing telehealth services
  • Fully licensed California clinicians only; associate and provisionally licensed clinicians are not eligible.

Responsibilities

  • Foster strong, supportive relationships with youth to create a safe therapeutic environment
  • Provide evidence-based individual teletherapy to youth ages 11–24 experiencing mild-to-moderate mental health conditions
  • Provide psychoeducation to parents/caregivers
