About The Position

Palo Alto Therapy is a therapist-owned practice seeking a licensed therapist (LMFT, LCSW, or LPCC) who enjoys working with a varied caseload including individuals, teens, adults, and couples. The practice offers a collaborative and supportive culture, with an administrative team handling scheduling, billing, and marketing. Clients are carefully matched to therapists based on clinical interest and fit. Both in-person and telehealth options are available.

Requirements

• Active California license (LMFT, LCSW, or LPCC).
• Experience working with individuals, teens, and couples.
• Comfortable using evidence-based approaches (CBT and other modalities).
• Collaborative, team-oriented mindset.
• Available at least 2 afternoons or evenings per week.
• Must be available for in-person or hybrid work in Palo Alto, Menlo Park, or San Jose, CA.

Nice To Haves

• Training in Gottman Method or EFT.
• Weekend availability is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide therapy to individuals, teens, adults, and couples.
• Engage in weekly consultation and skills groups.
• Participate in CBT & OCD certification training.
• Participate in couples-specific consultation group and supervision.
• Focus on clinical work, as administrative tasks are handled by the support team.

• Competitive Compensation: $95–$110/hour (part-time) or $90,000 salary (full-time) as a W-2 employee
