About The Position
Our client is a growing, non-profit healthcare organization focused on providing inclusive, high-quality care to underserved communities, with a strong emphasis on Behavioral Health, Primary Care, HIV care, and LGBTQ+ health. Services are delivered across multiple outpatient clinics in Orlando, Kissimmee, Lakeland, and the UCF area, with this role primarily based in Kissimmee.
Requirements
- Current, active, and unencumbered Florida LCSW or LMHC license
- Experience providing outpatient talk therapy
- Bilingual (Spanish/English) required
- Ability to work onsite in an outpatient clinic setting
- Simple EMR: Tebra (CareCloud)
Nice To Haves
- Experience working with HIV and LGBTQ+ populations preferred
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality outpatient individual therapy services to new and established patients.
- Maintain a manageable caseload, averaging approximately 6 patients per day.
- Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and provide ongoing therapeutic interventions.
- Educate and support patients through evidence-based counseling practices.
- Coordinate care with primary care providers and behavioral health team members.
- Document all patient encounters accurately and timely within the EMR.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and organizational programs.
- Maintain compliance with all organizational policies, procedures, and standards.
- Promote and uphold the mission, vision, and values of the organization.
- Additional responsibilities may be required
