About The Position

Tuscaloosa Academy for Growth & Change (TAGC) is a secure residential program for at-risk female youth. Requirements

Possess a BA/BS in a related field
Four years of related experience in residential facility management
Valid licensure
Be able to pass a criminal background check, drug, physical, and TB test
Be able to pass a search of the child and adult abuse central registry
Must be able to meet the requirements of an ROP-eligible driver, including having a valid Driver’s License

Nice To Haves

A master’s degree is preferred

Responsibilities

The Director of Group Living is a member of the Site Management Team, oversees residential services and living units, and serves as the Program Director in his/her absence.
Primarily responsible for managing all available resources in a manner that provides the students with the highest level of care and ensures the Rite of Passage program is being implemented in accordance with ROP policies and procedures and Federal, State, and Local licensing requirements.
The Director of Group Living reports to the Program Director and supervises the Shift Supervisors and direct care staff.
